Day 2 and the tension is getting thicker with each minute, the last 16 athletes are busy warming up but it is the excitement of finally meeting the Terminator himself that maybe consuming the players, at the timing of writing we had just been told that Arnold Schwarzenegger himself will come through to spend a moment with us, and this will be quite a treat for the players.
Charl will have to be careful not to trip in his match against Sylvester Henry but if he makes it past him then he will have a much trickier situation on his hands. Charl/Sly will have to deal with the winner between Aden and Nsovo and as we all know that match could easily be the match of the tournament, Aden is quick, Nsovo is witty but both are brilliant.
Yulan has Deon Daniels to worry about, the special one promised fireworks in his match against Hawkeye but Govender has seen them all before, he surely will not be unsettled by Gumz. Paul Bennett goes toe to toe with Rushin Bowers and whoever wins will meet either Yulan or the special one in the quarters. Yazeed will be looking to use his experience against Nicky Erasmus and Keegan will look to burst Kevin’s party celebrations whilst Thami Jabavu has a bone to chew with Kyle Akaloo.
