Nsovo vs Deon

For the second year running Deon Daniels found himself having to swim against the tide in a bid to get promoted to the Premier Division, last year he had to battle Yazeed but this year Nsovo Mathonsi was the stumbling block for the Special one. Alas once again he will have to try again in the seasons to come, Nsovo didn’t budge.

Thami vs Juandre

Thami Jabavu also did very well to stay in the First Division, all he had to do was thwart Juandre Jonck, initially Thami was automatically relegated but he got a lifeline to fight for survival after Sandile Madlala quit the league. It is weird that inland players are almost always relegation prone in the BPL whereas their coastal counterparts are flourishing. Thami will be staying in his Division and so will Juandre.

Zander vs Harry

Harry Martin successfully got promoted into the Second Division after he managed to flush Zander Kriel out of mainstream league 2 sets to nil. We welcome also Allister Fortuin and Senzo Gumede to the big boys’ league and we hope they stand their ground and maybe get promoted into the higher divisions.
